Hours

What are your primary service hours?

Our busiest hours are between 10am and 5pm M-F. These are our general service hours. We still service all hours of the day and can accommodate other time frames, such as mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays, however anything outside of our general service hours are subject to walker availability and would incur additional service charges.

Cancellation

What is your cancellation policy?

Any scheduled visit must be canceled by 9am the same day to avoid any possible late cancellation fees. Any scheduled vacation/sit care must be canceled 48 hours prior to the first scheduled visit to avoid any cancellation fees.

Communication

How will I know that you came by each day to care for my pet(s)?

For daily dog walking clients, we can leave a handwritten note detailing the day’s walk. For pet sitting clients that are out of town, I will communicate updates with you as requested. I can call, email or text updates and pictures. I will also leave a handwritten note on the last day of your trip.

Confirmation

How do I know you will remember to show up for the trip I scheduled several weeks ago?

We will send an email confirmation approximately one week before your scheduled dates. It will include the requested service dates and total cost.

Weather

Will my dog get walked if it's raining or extremely hot out?

Yes and no. Your dog will be walked unless it is pouring rain or heat exceeds 90 degrees. I take extreme weather into consideration on a case by case basis. Some dogs actually like walking in the rain. In that case, I may ask where you keep the towels for drying off after our walk. If your dog doesn't like walking in the rain or shows signs of heat distress, the walk will be cut down to a potty break but the VISIT LENGTH will remain the same. I will spend the remainder of the visit playing/petting indoors.

Payments

What type of payments do you accept?

We prefer Zelle, however Venmo is also an acceptable payment option.

When is payment due?

For weekly dog walking clients, payment is due at the end of each week. For pet sitting clients, payment is due on or before the first scheduled pet sit visit.

Overnight Care

What is included in an overnight sit?

Overnight sits can be custom tailored to the clients needs.  All pets have different needs, so this is something we’d discuss during consultation.  Typically overnight care is billed on a 24 hour cycle.  That cycle includes 3 walks per day (AM, Midday & PM) , all daily feeding requirements, any medication administration, and the sitter stays in home with your pet(s).

With this service all we ask in return is that you provide us a comfortable sleeping arrangement and the use of guest Wi-Fi.  We’ll do the rest!

Special Requests

I have a pet with special needs or requires unique care.

We can work with most situations and needs of care. In order to better serve you, please submit a consultation form or call 714-398-7077 to discuss further details.

I have a dog that is extremely strong and/or pulls excessively. Are you able to walk him for me?

The physical safety of your pet and the waker/sitter is top priority. We are best suited to care for cats, small dogs/animals and medium to large breed dogs that do NOT pull excessively. If your dog pulls excessively (at arm’s length where I have to bear down in order to not be pulled forward) then we may decline walking your dog. Please do not take it personally if we cannot physically walk your dog. We have physical limitations just like everyone else. Because this job is very physical (walking several miles each day), it is imperative that we do not put ourselves in a situation where we are liable to hurt ourselves or lose control of your pet.

Insurance

ARE YOu INSURED?

Yes, our service is insured with a commercial general liability policy which includes bonding.
