“Eddie has been walking my puppy two days a week since she was just a few months old. Gives me such peace of mind while I'm at work with my students. The check in texts afterwards, often with pictures, also bring comfort that everything is okay. I feel like Cami knows when I leave in the morning and I say "you get to see Eddie today!" And when I get home she's so chill, like "mom I'm good I got to see Eddie and get my energy out!" Everyone in my family knows "Cami's friend Eddie" as we say. After a few weeks of vacation they recently reunited and it did my Cami girl so much good :)

And bonus- I broke my foot at one point and Eddie noticed my overflowing trash. I couldn't walk to the dumpster and he took it for me. So he's also just a great guy. I totally trust and recommend him. He's understanding, flexible, receptive, and just overall great!”

Went away for a week to Zion and left the pooch at home. I was a little worried about him being alone for so many days, but Eddie took care of everything, sent picture updates, and checked in with each visit! Could not have asked for better! RUFF LIFE IS AWESOME!! I have had nothing but the best experience with Eddie and his team. A new job further away from home drove me to look for compassionate and responsive dog walking options. Eddie did not disappoint. Ruff Life responds with empathy, a ton of positive energy and such a solid understanding of what fur parents are looking for when it comes to pet care. I have booked them for weekend care while traveling and came home to happy, content fur kids. Ruff Life takes my kids out for a walk every day of the week and I've seen such a shift in their behavior. Our shy and timid MinPin mix has blossomed and greets Bianca with hugs and kisses--which is unheard of.

I receive text message confirmation every time they complete a visit and pictures as well. When caring for my kiddos over the weekend, we were in consistent communication and i did not have to initiate contact at all--they over-communicated which was awesome and put my mind at ease. They are diligent, agile and do an incredible job of building relationships with the families they support. I highly, highly recommend. Eddie responded to my initial inquiry within a few minutes, payment is easy to set up and every interaction with Ruff Life has been a positive one. They've made such an impact in my dogs' lives and I can't thank them enough.”

I couldn't be more pleased with Ruff Life South OC for taking such excellent care of my pups while away on an international trip. From the time I initially reached out, Eddie was extremely responsive and professional.  He and his team members Teresa and Lexi came out to our home, met me and the pets, and took an interest in understanding what we needed.  My situation ended up being particularly difficult and Eddie and his team were so flexible and understanding!  They stayed in touch daily with a text and/or photos and truly gave me peace of mind while being so far away. I am beyond grateful for their services and will continue to use them in the future!

I can't say enough great things about Ruff Life Pet Care!! I wish I could give them 10 stars! If you're looking for a walker, look no more! We recently moved and I was concerned about finding a new dog walker for our 2 boxers and then I happened upon this company on yelp and it's been the best experience!

Eddie (the owner) and Edwin (our regular walker) came over for a meet & greet to understand our needs and get to know the pups. Edwin started walking the dogs shortly after and it was an instant bond. He's extremely sweet, caring, and patient with them and our boxers are so in love with him!

These guys are always so professional and a true pleasure to work with. They are very reliable, prompt, informative, and their communication is top notch. Their first priority is the safety and well-being of the pups I trust them 1000% with my babies. They even send us the cutest pictures and videos taken on their walks! I would HIGHLY recommend them to everyone!

My elderly dogs (16 & 12) have never been cared for by anyone other than friends or family, and I travel OFTEN. So when my sitter couldn't help at the last minute when I had to leave for a Girl Scout Camping Weekend, I panicked. They had never been watched by a stranger, and I was kinda freaked out by that notion.

Rover and Wag were recommended to me, but an app felt so... impersonal. My dogs are elderly and one of them requires specific care, and I wanted to be able to speak with someone face to face about that, to stress the importance of why the specific care is in place. So I yelped local walkers, and found Eddie. And all 8 reviews were five stars so I decided to meet with him and see if he fit what I was looking for.

Eddie is super nice, reliable, professional. He was super understanding about my dogs care, took copious notes, and my dogs reported back to me that they loved him.

I would ABSOLUTELY use him again no questions asked, and recommend his services to everyone well versed in dog walking or not. He put my mind at ease, and didn't break the bank. Total win!
